acknowledgment of its quality by achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification, ISO
15189:2012 accreditation for laboratory services, SafeCare level 5 accreditation
and is at advanced stage of attaining Joint Commission International
Accreditation.
The
Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu has Outreach Health Services at Kisii, Kakamega,
Kitale, Bungoma, Kericho, Kibuye-Kisumu, West End- Kisumu, Busia, Homa – Bay,
Kapsabet, Migori, Bomet and Narok.
The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu with funding support from German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the German Development Bank (BMZ/KFW) is implementing A COVID 19 Vaccination Project in Western parts of Kenya.
The
overall objective of the project is to promote COVID-19 vaccination among the
population in East Africa. To effectively implement the programme.
The
Hospital is seeking to attract interested and qualified applicants to fill the
below positions.
Mobile
Clinic Drivers (4 Posts)
Vacancy
No: AKHK/PRJ/MCD/12/22
Overall
Responsibility: The successful candidates will be
responsible for driving one of our mobile clinics to various outreach clinic
events, health fairs, and community events, setting up for clinic services, and
performing a variety of clerical duties as assigned at clinic sites during
clinic hours.
We
are looking for a professional, outgoing, and friendly team member with ability
to multi-task.
Must
be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently. Must maintain or
exceed competency levels as established by corporate standards.
Key
Responsibilities
· Ability
to perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate repair services on mobile
clinic van and all agency vehicles.
· Perform
basic record keeping duties
· Perform
pre-trip and post trip inspections.
· Drive
the mobile on-site clinic to locations.
· Ensure
the vehicle/truck/van is fully operation.
· Properly
maintains vehicle cleanliness.
· Schedule
required service and repairs with the transport/Security Manager
· Driving
alternate vehicle when required to transport clients and staff to clinic
location. p. Transport labs when required to local public health during mobile
clinic and upon return to home base.
· Report
all accidents or incidents immediately as and when they occur to the supervisor
and follow due process.
· Maintain
updated travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
Requirements
· Valid
driving licence classes BCE.
· Minimum
KCSE certificate
· Minimum
two years driving experience
· Good
knowledge of the Highway Code and other Kenya traffic laws applicable to
commercial operations
· Good
organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
· Ability
to work at odd hours and / or travel at short notice
· Excellent
communication skills
· Excellent
