The main requirements are:
Management
- To supervise and manage the mechanics in the Nairobi workshop.
- This requires good organisation and leadership skills.
Financial Awareness
- To manage the cost of repairs and servicing to achieve the most cost efficient result.
- This requires a reasonable numeracy and understanding of costings.
Technical Knowledge
- To provide advice and guidance on the technical/mechanical processes and resources to run and effective customer facing service.
- This requires knowledge of a range of vehicles and qualifications both academic and practical.
Customer Facing
- To understand the needs and expectations of both the internal and external customers.
- To put in place processes to ensure that the customer expectations are consistently met.
