Job Title: Debt Collector

They seek to hire a debt collector to
be based in the head office
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the recovery of debts on the due dates
- To monitor the outstanding sales balances
falling due and contact customers before the balances become overdue to
confirm payments.
- Where required initiate proceedings to ensure
outstanding debts are bought to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Follow-up on debts by telephone, email and /
or letter as may be required
- Perform credit reference checks as may be
required
- Regularly inform all interested parties as to
the status of outstanding queries and work to obtain closure as quickly as
possible.
- Daily reports /updates on debt collection
Key Result Areas
- Due debt amount on aging
analysis
- Timeliness in posting of
records
- Accuracy of reports and timeliness in
submission of reports
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration
of finance related courses and CPA section III
- Knowledge in pastel
- Good communication skills
- Good listening skills
- At least 3 years’ experience
