Ltd is the leading steel manufacturer in Kenya.
The company
runs its own Cut to Length ( CTL ) Line, Steel Tube Mill, Steel Rolling Mill
and Plastics Manufacturer.
This year
has seen records broken with high volumes of products in trade and
manufacturing being used across some of Kenya’s biggest construction
projects. Apex is on a steady growth
plan which includes the East African region.
Apex is now
seeking a Tube machine operator to support in the operation of all types of
machine tools and perform all types of layout, fitting and assembly work.
You will
inspect and prepare machines for operation; lubricate machines when required;
examine and measure raw materials and finished projects to verify conformance
to specifications; adjust machine settings to reduce thickness and eliminate
defects; supervise and train other machine workers and other duties as assigned
to you.
This job is
for you if you possess a minimum of KCSE
qualifications; over 5 years successful
experience in the manufacturing industry / machine operation; flexibility to
rotate 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts; ability to visually check equipment to detect
adjustments; willing to be trained; Good verbal and written communication
skills.
You must
like working in a manufacturing environment.
You must also be a Kenyan national.
