This year
has seen records broken with high volumes of products in trade and
manufacturing being used across some of Kenya’s biggest construction
projects.
Apex is on
a steady growth plan which includes the East African region.
Apex is now
seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain process including
supply chain planning, logistics and distribution.
Reporting
to the Commercial Director, you will manage purchases without jeopardizing
quality; ensure all independent units are well stocked; recommend optimal
transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency; negotiate transportation
rates and manage long term contracts; ensure clearance of goods without
incurring demurrage, among other duties and responsibilities.
This job is
for you if you possess a degree in
supply chain management; over 5 years
relevant experience in the manufacturing industry; strong customer service
focus; excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
You must
like working in a manufacturing environment; ability to work on flexible hours;
You must also be a Kenyan national.
