Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) is a
State Corporation under the Ministry of Transport.
Our Mission is “to develop, regulate, and
manage a safe, efficient and effective Civil Aviation System in Kenya” with a
Vision “to be a model of Excellence in Civil Aviation”.
The Authority is seeking to recruit qualified

Job
Purpose: Responsible for finance, planning and human
resource and administration
Scope
of work / duties / responsibilities
§ Monitor process and through change management realign systems
and procedures to deliver value.
§ Establish optimal staffing norms and develop a performance
management policy that ensures the continuous availability of effective and
motivated Human Capital
§ Coordinate corporate planning and oversee implementation of
strategy to achieve organizational goals and objectives in an efficient manner.
§ Initiate the budgeting process and monitor spending patterns
for discipline and prudence.
§ Safeguard the integrity of the organization by ensuring the
effective management and efficient utilization of assets.
§ Initiate projects aimed at improving organizational output.
§ Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Director
General.
Qualifications
§ A Bachelors Degree from a recognized university.
§ CPA (K) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
§ Post graduate diploma in relevant fields such as business
administration, financial management or human resource development/management
from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
§ A Masters degree in Business or Finance discipline from a
recognised university will be an added advantage.
Experience
§ Five years post qualification experience in civil aviation or
comparable organization.
§ Experience in carrying out negotiations with senior
government officials and other stakeholders
Knowledge
and skills
§ Demonstrate high standards of professional competence and
administrative ability for direction, management and control of Finance and
Human Capital resources.
§ Proven leadership qualities, integrity, transparency and
accountability.
§ Show merit, ability and competence in performance management
for results.
§ Be computer literate.
§ Knowledge of international civil aviation (ICAO) regulations,
procedures and practices will be an added advantage.
