Expression of Interest (EOI)
The Rural Electrification Authority (REA) invites Expression of Interest for carrying out a Legal Audit to ensure that the Authority complies and enforces its mandate as stipulated in the Energy Act 2006 and as a State Corporation, with all the other laws that govern State Corporations.
The successful Firm is also expected to point out areas that require improvement by both the Board of Directors and Management and propose measures that should be undertaken in ensuring that the Organization is always enforcing and complies with all the statutory requirements.
Interested Firms must provide information indicating their professional qualifications, experience and expertise in carrying out a Legal Audit in large organizations. This should include a description of similar assignments undertaken in the last five (5) years, the names and contacts of clients for ease of reference and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CVs) of the individual staff members(s) within the firms that are qualified to undertake the assignment.
Interested eligible firms may obtain further information and clarification from the office of the Authority Secretary, at the Rural Electrification Authority offices located at the Chancery Building, 8th Floor, Valley Road, during normal working hours.
Complete Expression of Interest documents to be enclosed in plain sealed envelope and clearly marked “Ref RE A/2010/EO1/007 – “Expression of Interest for consultancy to carry out a Legal Audit for the Rural Electrification Authority” and addressed to:

The expression of Interest received shall be opened immediately thereafter and consultants or their representatives are free to attend.
