Senior System Implementer
Job Summary: Senior System
Implementer will be required to possess full functional knowledge and expertise
of ALL Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules of the standard solution
to give better insights to the development team on configuration and
customization items.
Reporting Line: This position reports
directly to the Head of Implementation
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as default project
team leader for assigned projects.
· Ensure quality solution delivery and support for all our clients based on contractual and regulatory requirements.
· Provide functional
consultancy leadership in system implementation, testing, user training, data
migration, go-live and support for assigned projects.
· Manage any
implementation crisis and unlock project blockers/deadlocks.
· Conduct Gap-fit analysis
for all new or existing solutions to ensure our products exceed client/market
requirements.
· Project documentation
owner.
· Ensure client-centric
service delivery
· Mentor, supervise and
direct the Implementers.
· Participate in technical
bid preparation and pre-sales demos when invited to.
· Champion
industry-specific business knowledge sharing and facilitate capacity building
for all assigned Implementers.
· Liaison with system
development team to ensure the delivered product meets/exceeds client needs.
· Ensure adoption of
standards and best practices in all implementation and support assignments.
· Contribute to
product-based innovations as a result of industry-specific knowledge and
trend-based market research/insights.
· Continuously researching
on new product releases, industry changes and emerging technology changes.
· Continuously researching
on industry trends and anticipated changes that have an impact on our
sector-based solutions.
· Responsible for the
functional knowledge and expertise of ALL modules with a key focus on standard
modules like (Finance, HR/Payroll and Procurement) for the standard solution to
give better insights to the development team on configuration and customization
items.
· Working with the client
technical lead to handle installation of the solution and configuration of user
profiles & permissions. For complex installations & configurations, the
implementer may work with an infrastructure expert
· Any other duty as may be
assigned from time to time.
Key Competencies
Academic and
professional Qualifications
· At least two to four years’
experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functional consultant
· A Bachelor’s degree
(Computer Science/Information Technology/BBIT/BCOM -Finance).
· A relevant professional
qualification either (CPA /ACCA, Microsoft certifications and Project
Management) is an added advantage.
· Possession of relevant
certification in a core functional area
Essential Skills
· Critical knowledge
areas: Business/industry knowledge, technical skills (System implementation
methodologies), testing, training, system configuration, foundation level
skills in customization and system support skills.
· Personality attributes:
Logical/Analytical mind-set, customer focus (client-facing skills), understands
change management and appreciates technology (bridge between business and
technical teams)
· Possess excellent
problem solving, communication and documentation skills,
· Fully understands Microsoft
Sure Step Framework/Methodology.
· Ability to work under
pressure in a fast-paced organization with minimum supervision.
