Job Title: Kenya Data & Field Office Support Specialist
Job Summary: Providing significant support to the administrative and data systems side of our Field Operations and aggressively working to make them ready to scale to achieve our ambitious targets year on year.
Job Description: The Data & Field Office Support Specialist is tasked with providing significant support to the administrative and data systems side of our Field Operations program, while also aggressively working to make them ready to scale to achieve our ambitious targets year on year.

This specialist will manage our Field Office Support (FOS) team (50+ staff) which facilitates weekly execution of our program in the Field and the Centralized Execution Audit (CEA) team (10-15 staff) which audits weekly execution.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategy and Vision
·         Contribute to the Field Operations 5 Year Plan, annual ‘Objectives and Key Results’ goals and planning processes for the Field Operations Execution Team.
·         Measure progress against goals, regularly report on progress, and hold team accountable to delivering results in key strategic areas.
·         Drive their team to scale our program to more clients efficiently, while maintaining a high level of service.
Field Office Support, Centralized Execution Audits
·         Directly manage and mentor 3 sub-department managers (2 FOS Admin Coordinators and 1 CEA Coordinator)
·         Ensure that all of the sub-department tasks are executed to world-class standards including:
Field Office Support
·         Direct oversight of our Field Office Administration team (consisting of 45AAs, 6 AA Senior Supervisors and 2 AA Senior Coordinators).
·         Coordinate procurement of office supplies and materials to support district and regional offices.
·         Oversee and manage all activities relevant to supporting Field Admin Staff (hiring, onboarding, check-ins, performance reviews, budgeting etc.).
·         Facilitate resolution of challenges and issues raised by Field Admin Staff.
Annual District Transition
·         Support the planning, coordination and management of the entire annual seasonal transition process. This includes everything from scouting and securing new district and regional offices, hiring and onboarding new field office support teams, establishing and setting up new district vendors, and procurement of new office materials.
·         Coordinate with Expansion, Field Staff Management and Business Operations teams to reconfigure incentive delivery to sites and districts that have changed and support update process for backend changes in Roster and the Field Staff List to reflect the updated district configuration.
Centralized Execution Audits
·         Direct oversight of the CEA team (12 staff)
·         Facilitate creation of tools and materials to make survey tracking and completion more efficient by the CEA team
·         Monitor execution of ongoing weekly surveys facilitated by the two units within the CEA team (Strategy and Impact).
·         Collaboratively set Team KPIs and metrics to measure success.
·         Regularly solicit feedback from the wider team and other departments.
People Management Training
·         Serve as direct management line to 3 mid-level management staff who oversees significant sub-teams (Field Office Support and Centralized Execution Audits).
·         All told, oversee 64 full time staff.
·         Management will include oversight, weekly reporting meetings, performance reviews and development, strategic direction and support.
·         Ensure that all staff receive effective mentorship to promote career growth and capacity to handle the organization’s rapid growth.
·         Personally lead training sessions for senior staff members.
·         Lead and support hiring of staff members within your sub-team.
Team and Culture
·         Within your sub-team, ensure all staff members are connected to the mission and feel motivated to serve our farmers each day

Qualifications
·         At minimum, a bachelor’s degree is required for this position with strong demonstrated previous work experience
·         People management experience is a huge plus
·         Well-organized with demonstrated experience managing projects with high degree of complexity and detail

·         Ability and demonstrated experience to work under pressure, producing quality work with little supervision
·         Excellent written and verbal communicator with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
·         Willingness to ask questions, comfort pointing out challenges or mistakes and an ability to give clear, direct
and professional upward and downward feedback

Job Title: Logistics Associate – Kenya
Job Summary: Coordinate the delivery of life-altering inputs to farmers across Kenya.
Job Description: Working with our One Acre Fund Logistics team presents the opportunity to build upon strong operational foundations, deepen and extend geographic reach, and explore new ways to impact our well-established network of thousands of farm families.
Distribution is fundamental to One Acre Fund’s core model and the logistics team is a cutting edge, cost-efficient, and professional rural delivery system. The Logistics Associate will be an integral part of the team that delivers millions of kilograms of goods each year directly to hundreds of thousands of farm families across Kenya.
Your work will have a tremendous impact on the organization’s key mission of serving smallholder farmers.
Responsibilities will include:
·         Executing Input Distributions throughout the growing season – planning and executing the delivery of life changing agricultural inputs to over 400,000 rural farmers across Kenya.
·         Serving as a liaison between One Acre Fund departments to ensure smooth execution of annual inputs distribution.
·         Managing a team of warehouse and logistics professionals. This includes roughly 15 warehouse teams as well as an office staff dedicated to critical activity planning, providing key oversight, and managing third-party partnerships.
·         Develop world class supply chain leaders through regular capacity building, mentorship, and stretch opportunities.
·         Building and managing a network of third-party service providers including transportation, warehousing, and input suppliers.
·         Designing and running operational trials with an emphasis on good data collection and analysis.
·         Implementing scalable policies and procedures to enable our program model to grow effectively as we expand our geographic density and reach.
·         Overseeing inventory management across all One Acre Fund Kenya warehouses.
·         Serve as strategic thought partner to Kenya Logistics Manager and decision maker impacting 400,000+ farmers.

Qualifications

·         Strong work experiences. Examples include a demanding professional work experience, or successful entrepreneurial experience, e.g. starting a field program in a developing country, leading a conference, starting a business, solid Volunteer Service Organization accomplishments, etc.
·         Experience in supply chain, logistics, or other operational management.
·         Strong analytical skills – ability to quickly review, synthesize, analyze and communicate data.
·         Strong educational background; a related degree in Supply Chain Management, applied mathematics, systems engineering, or operational management is preferred but not required. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
·         Demonstrated leadership experience at work, or outside of work, enthusiasm for learning, and openness to feedback.
·         Ability to build teams and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
·         Experience directly managing individuals and teams.
Language: Fluent English required. A knowledge of Swahili or regional Kenyan languages are highly desired.
