Overall Purpose
Magnate Ventures Ltd is looking for
an Account Manager-Signage who will be in charge of uncovering new business
opportunities, managing key accounts, utilizing business intelligence and
carrying out effective Research & Development leading to acquisition of
relevant information required to boost the signage business growth and
expansion including developing innovative signage packages to meet clients’
needs and budget.
Role And Responsibilities
·
Responsible for ensuring monthly,
quarterly and annual revenue targets are met and surpassed by finding creative
ways to bring in new business and ensure the existing clients’ relationships
are nurtured.
·
Maintain and develop existing
customers through high levels of service in order to expand and strengthen the
relationship.
·
Actively identify opportunities by
introducing signage products thereby increasing the revenue opportunity within
each customer’s business portfolio.
·
Work with client’s management teams
and understand particular business strategies and build on those strategies to
generate more revenue.
·
Communicate customer requirements
and/or schedules to the signage staff in a timely and executable manner for
promoting optimum cost efficiency.
·
To be actively involved in project
management of new and existing projects systems requirements.
·
Identify and develop new technical
sales enquiries and convert them into profitable new business and assist with
other technical sales and marketing activities.
Incumbent Requirements:
·
Business related degree with strong
technical sales experience
·
3 years’ experience in a senior
management position preferably in signage company
·
Strong commercial and marketing
background
·
Must possess excellent communication
skills
·
Excellent negotiation and
presentation skills
·
Self-motivated and ability to work
with minimal supervision
·
Those conversant with signage
construction and installation works and/or have worked in advertising/signage
sector will have an added advantage
Production Manager
Magnate Ventures Ltd is seeking:
Location: Nairobi
Reporting to: General Manager
Overall Purpose
Magnate Ventures Ltd is looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating
and controlling all the workshop processes. He/she will ensure that resources
are used effectively, costs are minimised, quality standards are maintained,
and that the workshop is conducted in a safe and environmentally conscious way.
He/she will supervise production staff and liaise with people from different
departments and suppliers.
Role and Responsibilities
·
Organize workflow to meet
specifications and deadlines
·
Prepare orders, setting quality
standards and estimating timescales and costs
·
Monitor production schedules and
adjusting them if problems occur
·
Supervise and evaluate performance of
production personnel
·
Determine amount of necessary
resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
·
Approve maintenance work, purchasing
of equipment etc.
·
Ensure output is produced efficiently
and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality
·
Enforce health and safety precautions
·
Draft a timescale for the job
·
Ensure the workshop equipment is
maintained in accordance with Engineering standards, local and statutory
legislation, ISO systems and Health & Safety legislation.
·
Cross-train worker teams for maximum
production flexibility.
Incumbent Requirements:
·
Proven experience in the production
industry
·
BSc/BA in business administration or
relevant field is preferred
·
Deep knowledge of production
management
·
Understanding of quality standards
and health & safety regulations
·
Knowledge of performance evaluation
and budgeting concepts
·
Experience in reporting on key
production metrics
·
Experience in a managerial role
within manufacturing set ups, preferably on a hands-on role.
·
IT literate with a good understanding
of all MS Office applications and project management programme.
·
Excellent organizational and
leaderships skills
·
Attention to detail
·
Strong decision-making skills and a
results-driven approach

Sales Manager

Overall Purpose
Magnate Ventures Ltd is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for directing and overseeing the
company’s sales policies, objectives and initiatives; set short- and long-term
sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs and
recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and
sales potential.
Role And Responsibilities

Determine annual unit and
gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and
results.
·
Design and implement a strategic
sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
in the market.
·
Establish sales objectives by forecasting
and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting
expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
·
Maintain sales volume, product mix,
and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends,
economic indicators, and competitors.
·
Establish and adjust selling prices
by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
·
Achieve marketing and sales
operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations
to strategic plans and reviews.
·
Prepare and complete action plans;
implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards;
resolving problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system
improvements.
·
Build and promote strong,
long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding
their needs
·
Achieve growth and hit sales targets
by successfully managing the sales team
·
Maintain professional and technical
knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional
societies.

Identify emerging markets and market
shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
·
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing
related results as needed.
Incumbent Requirements:
·
BS/MS degree in business
administration or a related field
·
Successful previous experience as a
sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding
targets
·
Commitment to continuous education
through workshops, seminars and conferences
·
Demonstrated ability to communicate,
present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the
organization
·
Proven ability to drive the sales
process from plan to close
·
Strong business sense and industry
expertise
