Operations Manager
 


Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for delivering efficient and effective operational excellence within the organization.
 
Responsibilities
·                     Evaluating customer needs, managing the planning process and ensuring smooth continuity of operations
·                     Managing service delivery by setting service standards, ensuring compliance, reviewing processes and seeking feedback from customers and other stakeholders
·                     Managing Guard discipline
·                     Providing effective supervision to ensure customer satisfaction
·                     Ensure that all incidents requiring management attention are properly attended to, investigated and feedback provided to the customer and management
·                     Conduct security surveys with every potential deployment
·                     Assist line managers by ensuring that all company assets are well taken care of
·                     Ensure that duly signed contracts are collected from clients promptly
·                     Compile monthly reports on business trends e.g number of guards, new assignments, leavers, joiners etc
·                     Excellent report writing skills
·                     Any other duty as may be delegated to you
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·                     A University Degree from a recognized University
·                     At least 5 years of operations experience in a private security company or service industry,3 of which must have been in a supervisory position
·                     Valid driving license
·                     Computer Knowledge
·                     Strong Verbal and Writing skills
·                     Strong organizational skills


Technical Manager
 

Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Director, the Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all the operations of the technical department as well as monitoring the overall performance of customer installations
 
Responsibilities
·                     Oversee all technical installations
·                     Providing direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems administration
·                     Design, develop, implement and coordinate technical systems
·                     Conduct project surveys and provide cost estimates
·                     Audit systems, assess their effectiveness and provide feedback to customers
·                     Make presentations on project status and make monthly reports to Management
·                     Follow-up on projects from implementation, testing to regular reviews
·                     Provide pro-active leadership to staff in technical department
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·                     A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
·                     Minimum 7 years working experience in a busy environment
·                     Excellent knowledge of modern security systems and computer hardware / software systems
·                     Knowledge and experience in information systems
·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills
·                     Ability to work with minimal supervision


Finance Manager
 
Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Director, the Finance Manager, will provide support
to business by ensuring that the company’s systems and procedures deliver agreed financial targets.
 
Responsibilities
·                     Oversee the company’s financial planning and reporting including key performance indicators
·                     Rationalize the company’s expenses
·                     Provide guidance on sound cash flow management and forecasting
·                     Compliance with statutory requirements
·                     Minimize company statutory exposure through know you customer principles
·                     Lead, coach and develop a winning team
·                     Any other duties as may be given by the line manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·                     A bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option) or a similar field
·                     Holder of CPA(K)
·                     Minimum 7 years working experience in a similar role
·                     Excellent knowledge of modern security systems and computer hardware/software systems
·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills
·                     Ability to work with minimal supervision
