of training manuals, course scripts and detailed evaluations of each
course, contributing to the development of Training4Change’s courses and
methodologies.
- Develop
innovative concepts for youth engagement at the Global Platform in
accordance with local and international needs.
- Mutual
teamwork with co-facilitators.
- Provide
administrative and practical tasks related to the running courses.
- Provide
round the clock support to course participants.
- Developing
training content and conduct sessions for the Global Contact trainings
taking into concern how to make it participatory with a strong linkage to
the surrounding community and the flow of the course.
- Continuously
evaluate and amend the teaching schedule and teaching methods, so as to
ensure professional development.
- Conduct
induction for the participants on the rules and regulations of the
Platform with the participants.

education of undergraduate degree in Social Work or a related field from a
recognized University;
- At
least 2-3 years working experience.
- Experience
in conducting training and development of participatory training courses.

with activism, advocacy work, campaigning and lobbyism.
- Demonstrated
work with youth empowerment and capacity building of youth groups.
- Experience
from working with people from different countries is an advantage.

partners have the capacities to engage in women’s rights work at local and
county level and to develop proposals for fundraising and to develop WRs plans
and budgets for the PSU.

- Work
with the Team leaders, the National WRs Coordinator and the PSU team to
build the capacities of partners to implement Women Rights activities in
line with CSP and in accordance with sound management practice and AAIK’s
development policies, approaches and accountability systems.
- Work
with Capacity building Coordinator - Donor Compliance and the PSU team in
reviews of learning and documenting lessons for development of new
approaches, best practices and alternatives in WRs programming.
- Work
with Team leaders to ensure all programmes at the county level are gender
responsible and are executed within the WRs framework of the CSP.
- Support
the National WRs coordinator to develop organizational knowledge and
understanding of relevant Women Rights policies and frameworks that inform
AAIK’s and partners WRs programming.
- Work
with the team leaders to train staff and partners on Women Rights for
effective networking, policy engagement and influencing.
- Work
with team leaders and PSU team to set WRs fundraising priorities and
develop the relevant content for resource mobilization with partners.
- Work
with the National WRs coordinator to design training programme to build
the capacity of staff and partners on Women Rights HRBA.
- Build
capacities of partners in the development and consolidation of
project plans and budgets in suitable formats, up to date, and according
to AAIK requirements;
- Prepare
and oversee wide strategic distribution and sharing of timely and
strategic information for decision and influencing to promote women rights
at county level.
Partnership
Support Unit
- Build
capacities of partners to design women’s rights programs and ensure their
successful implementation to achieve overall AAIK women rights objectives.
- Work
with the National WRs coordinator to build the capacities of the PSU teams
to facilitate capacity building of partners on women’s rights programming
and integration in collaboration with the PSU, WR’s Coordinators and
partners to identify policy areas and gaps to be prioritized
for evidence action and research at county level.
- Build
the capacities of staff and partners at the PSU to promote human rights
based approach in women rights programming and advocating for rights of
women and girls living in poverty and exclusion at county and national
level.
- Work
with county partners, coalitions, PSU team in promoting women’s political
leadership and participation at the county and link with national level.
- Build
the capacities of the PSU teams to facilitate capacities building of
partners on proposal development and resource mobilization for women’s
rights.
Linkages
at National and International Level
- Build,
strengthen and maintain strategic relations with women’s rights movement,
networks and advocacy specialists at county linking with the national
level through the National WRs Coordinator.
- Identify
and engage with key women’s rights issues and key collaborators for AAIK
in line with the CSP priorities at the county level
- Strengthen
establishment and management of relationships with county partners, other
stakeholders and build networks and coalitions for policy
influencing.
- Represent
AAIK at county networks, government agencies and other organizations in
order to influence policies in the interest of women and girls living in
poverty and exclusion.
- Lead
linking the local and national women’s right policy work.
- Any
other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Mobilization
- Working
closely with the other Capacity Building Team members and partners and
fundraising unit to coordinate the generation information for proposal
development and fundraising.

for Monitoring and Evaluation
- Build
the capacities of partners and PSU staff to support baseline surveys,
mid-term reviews and evaluations as necessary in liaison with PQC.
- Work
with team leaders to follow-up review and audit findings are taken on
board and are informing planning and reporting.
Central
position for information management and sharing on mission related content.
- Liaise
with various units including communication and IT to develop and maintain
central filing storage of information at PSU.
- Coordinate
contract management to support donor reporting and response to queries in
liaison with team leader.
- Develop
and maintain an effective central data information system and create a
base for projects, programme, policy and partners at the PSU level and
link this with the PQC for national reporting.

at least seven (07 ) years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of
which at least three (03) years must have been with I/NGOs, Social

qualifications in project management and/or M&E; and
- Good
understanding of Human Rights Based Approach and program cycle Management
- Good
understanding of Results Based Management.
