Client Relations
Main purpose of the job
- Assist to drive the company’s growth in business volume and profitability by managing the day-to-day delivery of clients’ projects to ensure they are strategically correct, on brief, on time and on budget and implementing Account Management strategies.
- Handle client accounts and develop solid business relationships with clients through regular and pro-active contact
- Responsible for liaising between the client and other agency staff to coordinate the client’s initiatives/campaigns
- Manage the administrative and project work ensuring that it is all completed on time and on budget
- Leading project execution, monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective delivery of clients projects and total satisfaction
- Organize and coordinate client meetings and following up for necessary action while keeping all informed through contact reports
- Take briefs from clients
- Brief all relevant parties within the agency clearly and succinctly on what needs to be done to deliver on clients requests or projects
- Champion the development of appropriate strategies that are aligned to clients’ objectives and brand strategies
- Presenting, alongside account teams , the agency’s campaign ideas/proposals
- Following for proposal approvals and commitment from client (cost estimate sign offs, PO’s, contracts)
- Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients in liaison with the Accounts department and following up for payments as per the terms agreed on with the client
- Briefing and training of project staff in-line with agency’s strategy and client initiatives
- Day-to-day monitoring and review of clients’ projects to ensure flawless execution and achievement of agreed KPI’s for client initiatives and updating all relevant parties.
Personal profile
- A marketing graduate with minimum 2-3 years experience in relevant/related industry
- Good understanding of the below the line operations and execution processes
- Confident, ambitious and energetic with a persuasive manner and the ability to use initiative
- Innovative and creative
- Self motivated and well presented
- Highly organized, able to work to deadlines and a stickler for details
