Bonfide Group is a logistics company that specializes in Clearing and Forwarding, Transport Solution, Lifting Services, Rig Mobilization and Construction. 

We seek to recruit well qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following positions in our organization;

Branch Manager

Based in our Rwanda Branch, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall performance and management of the Branch with key focus on ensuring that it contributes to the overall profitability of the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the operations of all Departments in the Branch to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure that the Branch meets its budgeted targets and yields profitability for the Group.
  • Be the principal marketing officer of the Branch and to ensure that the Branch achieves its set targets at all times.
  • Increase market share for the Group in the region.
  • Assess the market and competitive position of the Group and advice management appropriately.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the Branch resources.
  • Handle all public relations issues pertaining to the Branch
  • Grow business at the Branch and region.
Qualifications/Experience
  • University degree preferably Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing
  • Strategic Management & Leadership Training
  • Computer Literate
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in logistics industry.
  • The ideal candidate must have demonstrable flair for people and business management.
Fleet Manager

Provide leadership expertise that ensures efficient fleet services that contribute to achieving the Group’s strategy, growth and profit objectives. 

This will entail managing day-to-day logistics operations in a fast paced changing environment, as well as providing transportation solutions services to customers and developing logistics solutions.

Specific duties include:
  • Monitor the use of Bonfide vehicles, and fuel consumption;
  • Ensure that a logbook system for all the vehicles is maintained with total accuracy.
  • Monitor the use of fuel. Brief drivers on the security and safety of both drivers as well as the cargo.
  • Maintain a system that could eventually alert on when and what type of basic maintenance/ service is needed for each vehicle/equipment.
  • Ensure the proper and efficient management of the Group’s assets.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Logistics related course , Business Administration or related field.
  • 4 years work experience in the logistics sector, at least 2 years in fleet management;
  • Strong people management and leadership skills;
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
Declaration Officer
  • Classify imports/ Exports.
  • Undertake all declaration procedures for imports and exports
  • Experience in Tarrifs & Customs Procedure Codes, customs entry declaration, IDF applications, clearance under bond/exemption
  • Bonds management and cancellation procedures
  • Conversant with Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tarriffs and Simba system,Orbus,Tradex and KRATI. TREO reconciliations will be an added advantage.
  • Good communicator both oral and written
Qualifications
  • Relevant Certificate in C & F, University degree in Business Administration or related course is required.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position
Crane Operator

Requirements/Experience:
  • Loading and offloading heavy and sensitive cargo,
  • Operators licence from Ministry of Labour
  • Good command of English and Kiswahili language
  • Valid driving licence with a crane operator stamp
  • Hard working, honest with ability to work and deliver under pressure and independently.
  • Worked with 25 tonne cranes going upwards for more than 3 years
  • Driven heavy commercial vehicles for 2 years or more
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge of crane maintenance.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skill.
  • Be familiar with legislative and statutory requirements in Kenya with regards to mobile cranes, lifting, working at heights, etc.
  • Certificate of good conduct
Project Manager

This position requires thorough knowledge of civil/structural design and engineering techniques.

Specific responsibilities:
  • Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines such as plumbing, masonry, mechanical, electrical, etc.
  • Preparing civil/structural engineering design
  • Assisting in tender documentation and budget estimates
  • Supervising construction to ensure they meet structural and civil designs
  • Reviewing drawings
  • Carrying building audits to establish status of service
Education/Experience:
  • Degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field of work;
  • A minimum of 3 years proven industry experience in implementing and supervising construction projects. (recent graduates will be considered)
  • Excellent computer skills and good command of English
  • Ability to read and produce technical drawings (Good command of AutoCAD)
