Human Resource Personnel Job in Kenya

MarcTina Consultancy is a consultancy firm based in Nairobi. We offer services across different markets with the goal of improving market/project insights, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and fostering sustainable growth.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Conducting research on the HR needs and gaps in Kenya including HR related trends in Kenya and some of the best practices in managing people
  • Formulating business plans and engagement letters to clients
  • Business development and stakeholder engagement
  • Running an HR blog with weekly updates
  • Conducting HR consultancies
  • Developing training manuals and company policies on behalf of client
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate and manage labor contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop and manage training and development programs on behalf of the client.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements for the company and the clients.
  • and any other jobs related to administration and HR

Education background and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field;Masters  in human resources will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a Practising certificate from the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM)K

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical and proven experience developing HR manuals, company policies and code of conducts including employee development and company trainings and communication strategies
  • In depth knowledge of the Kenyan employment and labor laws and policies
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Proven experience as an hr consultant
  • Experience in project management preferably HR related
  • Experience in conducting team building trainings and organising employee development plans
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
  • Solid understanding of research methods and analysis
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT (ATS, Payroll etc.)
