Word Press Developer
The Role
As a WordPress Developer with us,
you’ll be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including
the creation of WordPress themes and plugins. We’re looking for someone who stays
up-to-date with the latest industry trends and possesses a strong understanding
of content management systems.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes and
plugins based on client specifications and design requirements.
Designing and implementing new
features and functionality.
Establishing and guiding the websites
architecture.
Ensuring high-performance and
availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Helping formulate an effective,
responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Implement and customize existing
WordPress themes and templates.
Collaborate with the design team to
create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
Conduct website performance
optimization, including speed and responsiveness enhancements.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related
to WordPress websites, plugins, and themes.
Ensure websites are fully responsive
and compatible across various devices and browsers.
Perform regular maintenance tasks,
such as backups, updates, and security checks.
Stay up to date with the latest trends
and best practices in WordPress development.
Collaborate with cross-functional
teams, including designers, project managers, and content creators, to deliver
high-quality websites within agreed timelines.
Provide technical support and guidance
to clients and team members.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress
Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
Good understanding of front-end
technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces
for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing
responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging
tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and
their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive
layout and wireframes into working HTML pages Knowledge of how to interact with
RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code
versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} Strong understanding of
PHP back-end development
Practical understanding of website
security and optimization
