About CFK Africa:
Founded in 2001, CFK Africa (formerly Carolina for Kibera) exists to improve public health and economic prosperity in the informal settlements in Kenya. CFK Africa combines service with responsible research to inform and assist participatory development in other informal settlements globally.

About the Program:
The Volunteer Program is a 9-months program designed to provide guided work experience and professional development to fresh university graduates in various disciplines and have been out of campus for not more than 1-year.

Location:
CFK Africa Kenya offices in Nairobi and other Counties as the Organization may require occasionally.

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Bachelor’s degree/Equivalent qualification in Public Health or related disciplines.
  • Valid Practicing licenses in area of specialization.
  • Fresh graduates who are either beneficiaries of CFK Africa’s programs or have experienced the impact of CFK Africa’s initiatives.
  • Fresh graduates who are willing to commit their time, for a period of 6-9months, to work for CFK Africa.
  • Fresh graduates who demonstrate desire and passion to work in informal and peri-urban settlements in Kenya.

Program Structure:
Successful candidates will be paired with dedicated professional supervisors at the beginning of every engagement for guidance. 

Compensation:
CFK Africa offers a stipend for these roles.
