Job Title: Business Development Consultant
Galayr
Engineering and Architecture Consulting-GEAC is a Somalia-based firm with more
than 12 years of experience.
The
firm has been undertaking large engineering consultancies in most of the Somali
cities.
We
provide construction and technical consultation services in the fields of
building design, planning, and management.
Our
goal is to establish ourselves as a dependable source of high-quality services
in the domestic market, regardless of project size.
Key
Responsibilities:
· Demonstrated
expertise with business development activities including proposal development
and bid documentation using the templates and platforms provided by the client.
· Develop
proposals that speak to clients’ needs, concerns, and objectives while
maintaining company profitability.
· Assess
wins and losses to impact future selling strategies
· Manage the on time and on budget delivery for project sold.
· Maintaining
a strong network and maintaining ongoing client relationships after project
start-up
Skills
and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s
degree in civil engineering, urban development or related field.
· At
least 5 years working experience in bidding and business development of
engineering and construction projects.
· Demonstrated
expertise with business development activities including proposal development
and bid documentation using the templates and platforms provided by the client.
· Excellent
experience in bid analysis
· Excellent
targeting and prospecting skills within the construction industry
· Proven
ability to close deals
· Negotiation
and moderation skills with senior decision makers.
· Computer
skills (MS Office software).
· Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
· Fluent
in Somali and English.
· Be able
to work under pressure.
· Excellent
interpersonal and team-working skills
