A client in the marketing industry is seeking to recruit a highly talented and dynamic professional to fill in the following position based in Nairobi County.
Project Manager
Reporting
to the CEO and Finance Manager, The Project Manager will be responsible for
planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects in the
organization, while ensuring these
projects are done on time, on budget, and within scope.
He
will oversee/manage the operations budget, crew selection, equipment/loading at
the warehouse, vehicles, events, strikes and reconciliation of accounts.
Key
Responsibilities
· Understanding
the project at hand and attending the brainstorming session
· Generating
a Project Work Plan for each job from brief to conclusion
· Generating
a production brief, review with and circulate to all involved in the project
· Enlisting,
controlling, training and mentoring project staff
· Monitoring
and controlling of route lists
· Assisting with budget development for projects, as well as petty cash management; including weekly reconciliations
· Accountable
and responsible for control of operations budget
· Monitor,
control and issue stock and POS
· Performing
a dry run or rehearsal for all events and projects to guarantee maintaining the
standard of pre-production and of shows / Events in accordance with client
briefs
· Setting
up and running of Events and Projects with a HANDS-ON APPROACH
· Conducting
client field visits
· Building
and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stake holders
· Maintaining
in good order vehicle fleet, stages, equipment within project
· Ensuring
all projects run in accordance with client briefs, and to the highest standards
· Constant
liaison with client service regarding information and all operational issues.
· Compiling
reports in a timely manner.
Key

· Bachelor’s
Degree in Project Management or its equivalent
· A
minimum of 3 years working experience, in a similar role
· Good
understanding of marketing communications and experiential marketing.
