Position: Business Executive

Location: Nairobi
Our client in trade industry, is seeking to recruit a Business
Executive.
Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in the
organization’s business development activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Development
· Build networking and
establish relationship with professionals and business associations to acquire
new customer base and potential collaboration / new business opportunities
· Attending networking
activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
· Identify and establish
strategic partnership with the industry and related industries for the benefit
of the association and its members.
· Ensure efficient and
effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning.
· To perform any other
tasks as assigned by Chief Representative from time to time.
· Using networks and
online research, identify and qualify new leads.
· Follow up on any leads,
clearly providing pertinent facts.
· Use telephone, email,
and internet contact to build and maintain strong connections with new and
existing partners.
· Become a product expert
and be able to effectively present the Organisations services to current and
new customers.
· Meet sales targets and
KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
Policies, Systems,
Processes & Procedures
· Follow all relevant
departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and
instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Continuous Improvement
· Participate in the
identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability
of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity
improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
· Prepare departmental/
sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Dubai
requirements, policies and quality standards
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in
business, marketing or relevant field.
Minimum Experience and
Skills
· 5 – 10 years of
experience in sales, marketing in Membership Organizations or Associations
· Strong communication
skills and IT fluency.
· Ability to manage
complex projects and multi-task.
· Good knowledge of the
local market.
· Excellent organizational
skills.
· Ability to flourish with
minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
· Proficient in Word,
Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Proficient in English
and Kiswahili
· Proficiency in French
will strongly be desired
