Position: Accounts Clerk – 15k -Nairobi

Accounting skills with 1 year experience.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
  • Confirm and submit customer invoices
  • Post and receipts and payments
  • Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
  • Monitor customer accounts for credits and delayed payment
  • Managing water supply to clients
  • Prepare payments for signature
  • Enter accounts payable data
  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Collect, confirm and process time sheets and overtime
  • Verify taxes and other deductions
  • Prepare and distribute payroll checks
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures
  • Track and audit petty cash
  • Assist with employee expense reports
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
