Events Sales Manager 

Department Description
We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Masoko Department within the EBU Division.   In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Reporting to the Commercial Lead, the position holder will drive and oversee the development, management and expansion of the customer acquisition base by owning the activity calendar across the year.

Responsibilities

·         Management and execution of all Masoko on ground events inclusive of all brand assets
·         Develop trade activation strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, market share and embedding customer education
·         Maintain timely and accurate territory reports, review competitor intelligence, sales performance and all information relevant to the territory
·         To play active role in developing and implementing the 12-month commercial calendar
·         Actively drive customer insights by gathering and reporting on market intelligence and pursue implementation of relevant insights while monitoring effectiveness of activities
·         Liaise with relevant partners and suppliers for effective and efficient delivery
·         Prepare regular updates on performance, identify potential gaps and planned activities
·         Coordinate with business units and trade activation managers to support go-to-market activities for Masoko campaigns and activations
·         Cross-functional lead in ensuring joined-up operations- engage stakeholders in defining a compelling go to market plan
·         People management- develop the capabilities and seamless execution abilities of the team
·         Support technology by offering real time customer feedback from campaign rollout.

Requirements

·         Degree in a business discipline
·         Have at least 8 years working experience in a commercial environment
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills
·         Proactive, confident, energetic and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude and use good organization skills
·         Mentoring/coaching skills/experience
·         Problem solving and decision-making skills.

Brief Description
Reporting to the Manager Product Solutions & Enablement, the role holder will influence the design of experience in Product development. They will play an active part in facilitating Service Experience Design in a cross functional environment with a view to output Product and Service Experiences that Attract and Retain customers.
This role is best fit for candidates who inherently are Creative, Influential, Strong Team Players, Bold, Articulate, Passionate about People and have a Strong Business Acumen.

Responsibilities 

·         Facilitation of cross functional stakeholders  to output unmatched customer experience across products and services (through Service Experience Design and other successful disciplines)
·         Lead in Digitalizing Service Experiences across products and service
·         Steer and facilitate crossfunctional teams in proactive service recovery design.
·         Incorporate Frontline empowerment and enablement using efficient, effective and empathetic approaches.
·         CX Roadmap for Product Excellence:  Creation, Ownership and follow through of the Experience Roadmaps through to successful outcomes
·         Operational Efficiencies: Deliver costs savings by Analyzing demand emanating from product and service experiences and implementing initiatives that result in operational efficiencies.
·         Product Readiness Assessments: Ensure that customer centric UATS and Readiness Assessments are well executed to inform the product and service launch decisions.
·         Product Decommissioning or Improvement: Provide insights that support decisions on strategic product decommissioning and/or improvements and steer experience excellence in product decommissioning.

·         Monitor the experience of existing products, solutions and campaigns and institute corrective measures in collaboration with relevant Business Units and stakeholders, as need arises.
·         Reporting Excellence with a view to safeguard and realize tactical and strategic customer experiences.
·         End to end administration of the product development process from an experience excellence angle.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor Degree or Diploma in a related discipline with a leaning on Technology and Human Sciences.
·         Proven practice in a Customer Experience role that includes Design and Implementation of Customer & User Experiences.
·         Ability to communicate complex subjects in a simple way
·         Ability to assimilate Technology and Customer Experience to output remarkable User Experience
·         Strong in reporting skills including report writing and presentations.
·         Capable of working in a complex organization, smart negotiator and able to build strong relationships and credibility without necessarily having direct management control.
·         Strong understanding of Customer Journeys, design of touchpoint experiences and related global trends.
·         At least 4 years working experience in customer experience environment
