Responsibilities

·         To review, plan, advice and implement tax legislation to ensure the group is tax compliant with minimum tax exposures while exploiting tax planning opportunities.
·         Design, advise and implement tax planning measures for the group to reduce tax liabilities and therefore ensure maximum profitability.
·         Study and interpret tax laws with the view of Identifying and exploiting tax opportunities in the 46 outstations so as to generate tax savings for the company.

·         Establish, lodge and follow up tax refund claims with tax authorities to fast track the refunds for cash flow purposes.
·         Identify and lobby for tax amendments and exemptions with the various Ministries of Finance so as to reduce the cost of doing business for the company.
·         Review of the existing bilateral agreements and recommending the establishment of Double Tax Agreement to reduce the impact of double taxation.
·         Advise on various tax implications on company’s projects/initiatives so as to reduce tax exposures.
·         Review, advise and negotiate for favourable tax clauses in the supplier contracts so as to reduce the burden of tax on the company.
·         Interpret and advise on Double tax treaties so as to reduce the burden of tax on the company.
·         Analyse, object and resolve tax assessments/queries from various Revenue Authorities and other statutory bodies so as to vacate/reduce tax assessments.
Review of tax schedules and tax returns to ensure tax compliance.
·         Auditing of outstations and subsidiaries to ensure tax compliance.
·         Computation of current and deferred tax expenses for the group for financial reporting.
·         Training of staff on changes in tax to ensure tax compliance.

Qualifications

Efficiently manage and coordinate pricing and sales related processes in designated markets in order to maximize POS revenue.

Responsibilities

·         Together with the Area/country and Sales Managers proposes and defends the pricing strategy for the region to the Pricing Managers in Revenue Management.

(Outstation Security Services) Security Assistant
Role Purpose 
To provide the personnel opportunity to develop their expertise in aviation security by exposing them to practical experience in Protection of the aircraft, passengers, baggage, cargo and company property against acts of unlawful interference including terrorism, sabotage, drug trafficking and theft.

Responsibilities

·         Prevent unauthorized people and vehicle from accessing the aircraft and its environment
·         Prevent unauthorized and unsterilized items from being loaded or carried in the aircraft holds and cabin.
·         Conduct pre/post flight cabin checks and file copies of the same for reference to ensure detection of suspicious items.
·         Conduct search on staff to ensure security of passenger baggage, courier, mail, cargo and in-flight materials before and after handling.
·         Safely handle and secure lost and found property until reunion with rightful owners to enhance customer confidence
·         Monitor and scrutinize movements of company property into and out of operational areas to detect and prevent theft.

Role Purpose
