Supply Chain Specialist

REFERENCE SCS 2018
Our client, one of the world’s largest brand producers of baby grooming items as well as cleaning papers is seeking to bring on board a Supply Chain Specialist.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring high performance of the supply chain i.e. from order, shipment to billing and customer service. This will require tracking of inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management & or Logistics Operations or any related field;
·         4+ years of relevant working experience in a financial reporting role;
·         CIPS qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supply Chain Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
·         All the logistic operations including warehouse operations (3PL) and transport operations;
·         First point of contact for import/export company;
·         Customer service operations;
·         Sales and management reports;
·         Support for planning activities.
Desired Competencies
·         Good knowledge of the logistic operations;
·         Effective interpersonal and team working skills;
·         Good knowledge of MS Office is a must and SAP is desirable.

General Accounting Specialist
Our client, one of the world’s largest brand producers of baby grooming items as well as cleaning papers is seeking to bring on board a General Accounting Specialist.
The role holder will be responsible for handling general accounting functions within the organization.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Commerce/Management with a Finance Major or similar education;
·         5+ years of relevant working experience in an accounting role;
·         CPA qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
·         Daily Bookkeeping i.e. (invoices for suppliers, selling documents, expense reports, etc.);
·         Cash and bank operations;
·         Preparation and submission of the necessary documentation to the bank currency control department;
·         Financial accounting for overheads;
·         Monitor and perform accounts payable accounting;
·         Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets, book and tax;
·         Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger;
·         Accounting of inventory and transport costs;
·         Checking the source documents for compliance with accounting and taxation;

·         Participation in monthly closing procedure in accordance with the Company Policy;
·         Participation in internal and external audits;
·         Provide required support during annual audit;
·         Maintain strong working relationship with all internal business functions;
·         Performs other responsibilities as assigned if they are not in contradiction with this Role Profile.
Core Competencies
·         SAP knowledge.
Desired Competencies
·         Good knowledge of the accounting system;
·         Effective interpersonal and team working skills;
·         Relevant experience;
·         Competence in MS Excel.


Financial Analyst
Our client, one of the world’s largest brand producers of baby grooming items as well as cleaning papers is seeking to bring on board a Financial Analyst.
The role holder will be responsible for analysing the company’s financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data and recommending actions for the same.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Commerce/Management with a Finance Major or similar education;
·         3+ years of relevant working experience in a financial reporting role;
·         CIFA qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

·         Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
·         Preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial reports required for management decision-making on a monthly basis;
·         Prepare a variety of actual vs. budget reports for profit and cost center managers including financial and variance analyses;
·         Participate in yearly budget preparation;
·         Preparation of Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss reconciliation and maintenance of balances on the sufficiency of provisions;
·         Prepare future business plans including cost impact analyses, balance sheet and cash forecasting;
·         Liaise closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Logistics) as well as outsourcing parties.
Core Competencies
·         Prior work experience preferably in FMCG companies;
·         SAP knowledge.
Desired Competencies
·         Effective interpersonal and team working skills;
·         Relevant experience;
·         Competence in MS Excel.
