1. Senior Lecturer, Community Development
Program
(1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:
·
A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in Community Development or Development studies from a
recognized/accredited university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years
research/industry experience;
·
A minimum of thirty two (32)
publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four
(24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
·
Supervised at least three (3)
postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent;
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body.
·
Demonstrated classroom skills as
evidenced by student evaluation and peer reviews by moderators
·
Demonstrated evidence of success in
some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable
organization will be an added advantage.
2. Senior Lecturer, / Security studies/ Governance / Peace
and Conflict Studies
(1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in either Security studies or Governance or Peace and Conflict
Studies from a recognized/accredited university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years
research/industry experience;
·
A minimum of thirty two (32)
publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four
(24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
·
Supervised at least three (3)
postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent;

Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in either criminology or security management or law or sociology
or psychology with a bias in criminal justice management or policing from a
recognized/accredited university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or six (6) years
research/industry experience;
·
A minimum of thirty two (32)
publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four
(24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
·
Supervised at least three (3)
postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent;
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body.

4. Lecturer, Education Department
(2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience
Must have:

A PhD or equivalent degree
qualification in any of the following fields: Curriculum and Instruction,
Early Childhood Education and Special Needs Education (or
Master’s degree qualification in special cases)from a
recognized/accredited university;
·
At least three (3) years of teaching
experience at the university level as a Lecturer or in research or
industry experience; and
·
A minimum of 24 publication points,
of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journals; and
·
Registered with the relevant
professional body.
·
Demonstrated classroom skills as evidenced
by student evaluation and peer reviews by moderators
·
Demonstrated evidence of success in
some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable
organization will be an added advantage.
