About Afya Pwani Project: Afya Pwani is a USAID funded project being implemented by a consortium of partners in Coast region.
The project focuses on elimination of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (eMTCT) by increasing access to health care and services for HIV positive mothers, increasing access to Maternal New-born and Child Health (MNCH) and improving nutrition, access to Family Planning, Water and Sanitation services for key populations.
The project will offer targeted services, work in partnership with the Government to build capacities of Government Health care facilities and strengthen county health care systems.
We are inviting candidates for the following position:
WASH Officer – Afya Pwani Project (Kilifi)
The WASH Officer will ensure delivery and impact of WASH outputs and outcomes in the WASH Project.
S/he will ensure active engagement and involvement of relevant stakeholders and communities in project activities and oversee all aspects of WASH component implementation, and monitoring in project target locations.
The WASH Officer will identify and assess the key Water supply hygiene and sanitation practices to be addressed and whom to engage and develop appropriate strategies to promote safe practices.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Afya Pwani Project (Kilifi)
This position exists to support the implementation of the Afya Pwani Project in Kilifi.
The position holder will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and utilization of project information that is suitable and relevant for providing management information for decision making, program improvement and knowledge management.
S/he will support quality and effective program design, drive learning, innovation and program accountability within the project and sharing lessons and outcome with other projects implemented by the Kenya Country Office.
The focus of the role will be on data collection, analysis, documentation, effective reporting and knowledge management.

Project Manager – Safer and Inclusive Cities Project (Nairobi)
Project Manager will oversee the implementation of Safe and Inclusive Cities Programme project being implemented in Nairobi, and Kisumu.
Additionally, the Project Manager will support and coordinate the country programme with selected CSO partners.
The role is responsible for planning, implementation, partner and personnel management, resource management, monitoring & evaluation, associated stakeholder and partner relationship management and timely quality reporting.
Designing and development of complementary or new funding proposals is expected and the Project Manager ensures quality of project
activities/results.
The incumbent should have good understanding of the interface between urban and rural child protection and advocacy programming.

Project Officer – Safer and Inclusive Cities Project (Kisumu)
The main purpose of this position is to support and manage the implementation of the project activities in line with the approved project documents (project proposal and outlines) in line with donor requirements.
S/he is responsible for the conceptualization, development and execution of the project activities as per the approved activity.
The responsibilities also include the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project activities in line with the detailed implementation plan related to the project.
