The role involves working with security
compliance consultants and business consultants to deliver complex projects for
a wide range of clients both in Kenya and abroad.
Responsibilities
·
Deliver
vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, including the development of
custom exploits and proof of concepts;
·
Performing
incident response and handling along with, where required, computer forensics
investigation;
·
Research
into technical security areas and contribute to security training course
development, including the development of slides, workshops and virtual
environments;
·
Delivery
of security training courses;
·
Assisting
the business development team in business development activities.
Qualifications and Experience
·
Bachelor
of Science Degree or a related tertiary qualification.
·
Minimum
of three (3) years experience in IT security with emphasis on security
assessment and security incidents investigations.
·
Added
bonus: Any technical security certification.

Information Security Compliance Consultant will report to the Chief Executive
Officer / Compliance Manager and will be responsible for information security
policy development and maintenance; design of security policy education,
training, and awareness activities; monitoring compliance with IT security

security incidents, working with the technical security consultants team to
oversee and manage technical security assessment projects and assist in risk
assessment reviews.

Review security policies and
processes and coordinate proper implementation in accordance to related best
practices and standard procedures per ISO27001.
