Vacant Position: Sales Accountant
Overall Purpose: Reporting
to Operations Manager, the sales accountant shall oversee the sales account
team assigned to the market.
This involves account management
tasks, planning and managing the full relationship between a business and its
most important customers.

- Preparation of fruits accounts and reports for
Management on all fruits sales.
- Developing detailed knowledge of fruits
product portfolio and a strong understanding of current and future
markets.
- Monitor fruit sales data and provide analysis
to illustrate sales trends, identify weaknesses in current sales execution
and support future sales strategy.
- Be part of a high performance team culture
working collaboratively towards continuous improvement.
- Accounting for the sales & collections,
follow up for the timely collections from all the customers.
- Ensuring that the credit limit is not
surpassed and overdue collections are collected immediately.
- Reconciliation of the receivables with the
customer statements.
- Coordination and liaison with the customers
regarding any official correspondence.
- Preparation of the sales report and detailed
analysis of the sales on daily basis for management information and
guiding in decision making.
- Preparation of the ageing report and daily
sales & daily collection report.
- Ensuring that the sales are updated in the ERP
or any available data system on regular basis and accuracy of the data.
- Control of the salesman inventory, salesmen
receivables returns and replacements & reporting on the same.
- Monitoring & supervision of the marketing
team and ensuring proper record keeping.
- Exploring profitable opportunities and
reworking the business / finance models to achieve departmental growth
objectives.
- Implementing accounting / financial systems
with a view to ensure smooth accounting operations and facilitate internal
financial control.
- Administering maintenance of books of accounts
as guided by the financial controller or his designate.
- Presenting a true & fair view of the
financial position by preparing and reconciliation of the financial
statements e.g. ledgers, P&L & Balance Sheet.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the
department head
Attributes / Qualification /
Experience Required:
- Minimum of Section 4 Certified Public
Accountant or its equivalent
- Minimum of higher diploma in
sales/Marketing/Admin or equivalent experience.
- Good communication, interpersonal and
analytical skills
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as Sales
Accountant in a reputed organization.
- Knowledge of all accounting transactions.
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, QuickBooks or other large automated systems
- Honesty and integrity
