PCEA Chogoria Hospital was
established in 1922 and serves as a referral and teaching hospital.
It has a 295 bed capacity that
focuses on the provision of Curative, Preventive and Promotive Health Care
services in the greater Meru, Embu and as far as Isiolo and Marsabit Counties.
1. Dentist

Reporting to the Chief Medical
Officer the Dentist’s overall purpose will be to and not limited to provide
preventive and restorative treatments for problems affecting the mouth and
teeth.
Other Responsibilities
a) Examine teeth, gums, and related
tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment, to
evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan
appropriate treatments.
b) Advise and instruct patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral health care services.
Basic Requirements:-
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a recognized
University
- Be registered with the Medical Practitioners
and Dentist Board
- A valid Practicing License
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- Experience of over 1 years will be an added
advantage
2. Deputy Principal Tutor

Reporting to the College Principal
the Deputy Principal’s overall purpose will be and not limited to deputizing
the Principal Tutor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, implementing,
coordinating and evaluating all nurse training programs in the College.
- Assists in the preparation of annual budget
for the College
- Assists in undertaking institutional strategic
planning to support long term development and overall improvement of the
College.
Minimum Requirements:
- First degree in Nursing (BScN.BN), Dip. Med.
Edu, Diploma in Advanced Nursing (DAN) or a Diploma in KRCHN at the level
of a Senior Tutor.
- Teaching experience of over 2 years
- Previous experience mainly in a supervisory
role is an added advantage
- A valid practicing license from NCK.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
