Executive Assistant Job in Kenya

Taurus Group Ltd is an organization that is tripartite in its operations, dealing in Mobile VAS, Events and Music. 

The company's operations span several countries across Africa.

We are seeking a long-term commitment from an exceptional Executive Assistant

The role will support the administrative needs of the MD and Senior Vice President and will also steer the Human Resource and Admin Department.

Job Description
  • Taking dictation, Handling correspondence, filing, sending E-Mails / fax messages, photocopying, etc.
  • Preparing confidential reports, correspondences, minutes of meeting & monitoring deadlines / follow-ups.
  • Maintaining MD's  and VP's Diaries and confidential records.
  • Organising meetings including preparation of supporting material and taking down the agenda; identifying communications that require personal attention of the MD and attaching appropriate background material.
  • Working closely with the departments to achieve a harmonious working environment, greater operational efficiency and facilitate effective communication.
  • Arranging & monitoring travel arrangements and making Hotel bookings, miles updates , travel expenses etc .
  • Maintaining a record of incoming and outgoing mails and telephone calls for the reporting head.
  • Organizing, filing & maintaining papers, documents, records in a systematic manner; issuing legal documents.
  • Maintain company Human Resource Records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
  • Supporting CRBT and Events operations as required

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in administration and possess exceptional organisational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. 

They should ideally have some human resource experience, an aptitude for administration and an interest in the entertainment business.

  • A degree in a related field. Business or Administration-related degree desirable.
