They seek to hire a Financial
Accountant with a manufacturing background.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory management and product costing
- Ensure all inventory accounts are fully
reconciled each month
- Maintain system of accounts and keep records
of all company transactions and assets
- Accurate inventory valuations, with no
write-off
- Costing imports, clearing costs, supplier
invoices and receiving documents
- Review materials usage, labor costing,
equipment, fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledger chart of accounts
- Handle full spectrum of financial role –
Accounts Receivables, Payables and General Ledgers
- Perform set of accounts and ensure timely
monthly and end of year closures.
- Manage inter-company transactions.
- Manage external / final audit.
- Ensure Tax and statutory compliance.
- VAT reconciliation and returns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Commerce or Business Accounts /
Finance option
- CPA graduate
- At least 3 to 4 years experience in a
manufacturing setup
- Exposure to International Financial Reporting
Standards
- A person of attested integrity
- Excellent analytical, organizational,
interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Result oriented, self-motivated and energetic.
- Computer literacy and good knowledge of
diverse accounting packages
- Good communication and presentation skills at
a senior level
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight
deadlines
- Should be a team player
