HR/Administrator
Our client a leading tours and travel company is seeking to recruit for the position of a HR/Administrator. The incumbent will be tasked with:
General objectives
Human Resources (HR): To assist the MD with HR Issues (recruitment processes, evaluations, disciplinary measures, etc) as directed by the MD
Representation/ PA: To assist the Managing Director in managing contacts and relevant information and arranging movements locally and abroad
Administration : To assist in office operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resource
- Induction and orientation of new staff in the
company
- Manage all employees leave days;
- Maintain staff information and contact
list
- Maintaining a proper filling system of all
staff personal information
- Ensure HR reference documents are properly and
transparently communicated to all staff
- Ensure all staff understand and comply with
their Job Description
- Together with the Managing Director and
respective Managers, resolve grievances of employees recruitment of new
employees, termination formalities and organize end of contract
documentation.
- Training and development
- Inform and advice Managing Director about any
staff related issues/problems immediately as they arise
- Maintain the Human Resource database in both
hard copy and an excel file and duly update it
- Together with the respective Managers and the
Managing Director assist in general evaluations of staff when required.
- Assisting with the day-to-day efficient
operation of the HR office.
- Development of an employee-oriented company
culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high
performance.
Personal Assistant to MD
- Managing Director’s personal organizer,
appointment scheduling, arranging meetings and minute taking where
necessary.
- Checking on official email and responding when
necessary
- Maintaining discretion and strict
confidentiality in particular sensitive situation
Administration
- Assist in office operations
- Supervising Riders/messengers
Qualifications
- Degree in Business/ HR or a diploma with IHRM
Membership
- A minimum of 3 yrs of experience
- Thorough knowledge of Labour laws and
policies;
- Possess excellent planning and HR management
skills, including hiring, supervision and evaluation.
