Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager
Location: Kisumu
Reports to: General Manager
Duties and
responsibilities:
- Driving a service culture which delivers outstanding customer service through all aspects of the business. Creating an environment where everyone in the hotel is focused on “walking the extra mile” to deliver outstanding customer service
- Planning, organizing and controlling the day-to-day operation
- Selecting, training, coaching and developing people to meet current and future needs of the department and the hotel
- Maximizing Food & Beverage Dept. profitability
- Ensuring Brand Standards are consistently delivered throughout the department
- Providing and communicating clear direction to the team
- Ensuring the health, safety and well being of customers and all hotel staff
- Ensuring Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Executive Chef adhere to controlling procedures of all stock items.
- Carrying out daily inspections in all outlets, insuring optimal hygiene, equipment maintenance, well presented outlets, food presentations.
- Ensuring all A la Carte Dishes, Buffet Dishes has updated recipes and costing and are updated every 6 months

Requirements:
- 10 years successful experience in the industry of which not less than 5 years at senior management level
- A degree in Hospitality Management
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma in Hospitality management
- Excellent communication skills
- Team management, leadership & team player
