National
Council of Churches of Kenya, an umbrella organisation for Protestant Churches
and Christian Organisations registered in Kenya, invites applications from
interested and suitably qualified candidates, to fill the following positions
at its newly established Jumuia Coffee House, Nairobi
Cook
Reporting
to the Sous Chef, this position is responsible for ensuring food is prepared
that conforms to jumuia coffee House standards and be responsible for the day
to day running of the given section within the kitchen.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent
- Certificate in Food Production
- 3 years experience in busy high end coffee houses /restaurants environments.
Other Competencies:
- Must be a team player.
- High level of motivation, integrity and commitment
- Ability to work for long hours with minimal supervision
- High personal standards of hygiene
Jumuia
Coffee House operates under the umbrella of Jumuia Resorts a chain of medium
size hotels managed and operated in a Christian value based environment under
the auspices of the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK).
