A well established Design and Construction company with projects in various parts of the country seeks to recruit


Site Manager based in Mombasa. 

He/She will form part of an existing team in providing the following:
  • You will be the overall leader of the site team thus will undertake all execution, supervision and leadership of the project team.
  • Briefing the head office on the projects progress and key material and resource requirements
  • Managing day to day operations and administrative issues relating to the project
  • Interpretation of architectural, structural, civil and electro-mechanical drawings and sketches.
  • General project management and site supervision including time and quality control
  • Ensuring health,  security and safety of site staff as well as security  materials and other resources
  • Supervising the various component leads/ supervisors to ensure that each of them is on top of the issues and no part of the project suffers lags
  • Overseeing the various components of the project to ensure concurrent project progression
  • Liaising with the client representatives at every stage of the project and briefing them on milestone issues
Qualifications/Competencies
  • A Diploma or HND in  Mechanical/Civil/ Electrical Engineering fields
  • 10 years’ experience in site operations within  technical  projects
  • Hands on project experience and ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated team leadership a good motivator
  • Ability to remain focused in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team
  • A good communicator and good delegator
  • A self-motivated individual able to work with minimal or no supervision.


Site Mechanical Supervisor based in Mombasa. 

He/She will form part of an existing team in providing the following:
  • Evaluate, install and operate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
  • Supervise the  mechanical technician team in the project
  • Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure smooth and seamless operations
  • Issue work tools and equipment to the team
Person Specifications
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Hands on Mechanical experience of not less than 5 years in large projects
  • Ability to read and understand designs and specifications
  • Ability to lead and inspire others
  • A self-motivated individual able to work with minimal or no supervision.
Site Welding Supervisor based in Mombasa. 

He/She will form part of an existing team in providing the following:
  • Supervise the welders team in the project
  • Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure smooth and seamless operations
  • Issue work tools and equipment to the team
  • Oversee the safety and welfare of the welders in the team.
Qualifications/Competencies
  • A Diploma, Craft Certificate or Government trade test in Arc and Mig welding
  • Welding hands on experience of not less than 5 years in large projects;
  • Ability to read and understand designs and specifications
  • Ability to lead and inspire others
  • A self-motivated individual able to work with minimal or no supervision.
