Job Profile
- Sales target
achievement by assigned sales teams and individual customers
- Implementation
of trade marketing activities in assigned region
- Analyse factors
affecting customers and consumer growth in the assigned area and advise on
the necessary action
- Work closely
with merchandisers and/or sales agents in the assigned area
- Manage,
organize, implement and co-ordinate all distributor, wholesale and retail
channel activities effectively and profitably in liaison with the
distributor, sales, brand teams for the successful outcome of business
plans.

management Person Profile
- University
Graduate preferably in a business related degree.
- At least 5 years
experience in distributor management, team management, sales territory
management and in-store execution, ¡n an FMCG environment.
Senior Area Sales Developer

- Timely,
effective and consistent achievement of sales growth & targets in a
specified territory.
- Manage
distributors recruit and train the distributor team, including setting and
monitoring their KPIs
- Managing all
direct customers including Key Accounts, Beauty channel customers and key
wholesalers.
- Develop and
execute the 5P’s with excellence ¡n a given geography, at all retail and
service environments.
- Price management
to ensure stability at optimum levels
- Manage placement
and position at all stores in the territory.
- Promotional
excellence, implementation of all Account specific and National
Promotions.
- POS strategy and
implementation to ensure constant and outstanding visibility all through.
- Competitor
activity monitoring and reporting.
- Business
forecasting, analysis of factors affecting trade and consumer growth and
advice on necessary actions.
Person
Profile
- A Degree from a
recognised university.
- At least three
years sales experience with outstanding results in a reputable FMCG
company in East Africa.
- Computer
literacy is mandatory.
- Should have
successfully managed a distributor in an FMCG environment, distributor
team and should be well versed with the distributor model.
- Should have
managed Key supermarket stores, and therefore should have basic Key
Accounts management skills.
- Be a competent
driver.
- Should be able
to demonstrate excellent people management skills.
