Marketing & Communication Manager.

This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Job Purpose/Summary

 
The key role of the Marketing & Communication manager will be to ensure proper implementation & monitoring of marketing, advertising & promotional activities in line with the marketing objectives of the organisation.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementation of marketing strategy
  • Oversee the formulation& execution of internal & external communication strategy
  • Handle all the company’s public relations with the public & community
  • Building a strong and valued brand
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns
  • Planning & coordination of market research to assess brand demand, positioning & awareness
  • Focus on business growth &client retention
  • Planning & coordination of PR activities & development of advertising opportunities
  • Arrangement for effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Organising & attending of events & sponsorships
  • Manage the company’s websites, designs and content
  • Content development for promotional materials such as newsletters, website, flyers etc
  • Marketing intelligence & monitoring competitor activity
  • Attend & actively contribute to strategy, status, & follow-up meetings on the development.
  • Act as a focal point for the collection of information from various sources.
  • Prioritize projects to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assignments
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Marketing option or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing
  • 2 years of PR experience highly desirable
  • Experience in Telecommunication or ICT firms  
  • Must have Branding experience
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge

Legal & Corporate Affairs Manager.
 
This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Job Purpose / Summary
 
The Legal & Corporate Affairs &Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of the business’s legal and contractual risks.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review & advice on ongoing cases
  • Liaise with the regulators, local & international authorities on legal & statutory compliance
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the department for executive management meetings
  • Liaise with the stakeholders in coordinating the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives
  • Identified & mitigate exposure & risk on new contracts
  • Provide and interpret legal information
  • Train and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff
  • Formulate compliance checklist
  • Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
  • Review and advice management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
  • Review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess its implication
  • Highlight legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention
  • Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.
  • Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the  necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time
  • Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.
  • Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of department staff
Minimum Qualifications
  • LLB undergraduate degree, Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Fully qualified CPS (K)
  • An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
  • At least 5 years legal experience ideally in a leading organization
  • Experience in Telecommunication or ICT firms  
  • Proven track record of providing accurate and effective legal counsel
  • Contract negotiation and drafting

Human Resource Manager.
 
This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Purpose / Summary
 
The Human Resource Manager will initiate activities aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the work performance results and the development of human resource in the company 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Formulate & implement HR policies & procedures within the legal framework
  • Develop and implement HR strategies in line with company’s strategic plan
  • Participate in the training needs identification process in consultation with line managers and coordinate the implementation of the training plan
  • Coordinate and monitor employee appraisals and  performance evaluation
  • Develop good rapport and relationship with HR agencies and other support service providers
  • Develop Human Resource management strategies and comprehensive action plans
  • Develop HR management plans to ensure effective succession management in the company
  • Liaise with line managers to understand their business strategy and develop HR plans accordingly
  • Implement and manage the performance management system and ensure its effective execution through the line managers
  • Handle administration of staff contracts and translation of terms of service
  • Manage Industrial Relations within the organization and ensure the company  adheres to the labour laws
  • Advise management on grievances and appeals, adverse actions, employee discipline and related matters within the framework of the Labour laws
  • Investigate and resolve complaints, appeals, and oversee employees disputes settlements and legal issues of workforce
  • Enforce safety regulations within the company
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection and placement process of staff
  • Handle staff correspondences related to enquiries and promotions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources Management five of which must have been at senior management level with a direct functional reporting to the head of the business
  • Generalist HR practitioner with a sound knowledge in the Employment laws, labour relations and driving employee performance

This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Purpose/Summary
 
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for many finance-related tasks within the organization i.e. will being charge of evaluating the current state of the business. 

This role will encompass analysis and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information in areas that may include financial advice and support to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Managers to enable them to make sound business decisions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparing and evaluating profit and loss and cash flow statements to determine which areas of the business are profitable and which areas are underperforming
  • Managing investment activities by overseeing investment opportunities and ensure that a cash management strategy is in place
  • Determine long-range development and investment strategies in order to ensure the company is profitable and cash flow positive
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
  • Supervises investment and raising of funds for business
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization

Accounts Manager.
 
This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Job Purpose / Summary
 
The Accounts Manager will be responsibility to manage key clients’ accounts for the company and ensure quality service provision to clients, development and maintenance of profitable relationships.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
  • Review all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Own the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client
  • Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
  • Representing your organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with your sales managers.
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special bundles/packages.
  • Liaising with internal departments to check on the progress of existing orders.
  • Checking available bandwidth before striking a sale
