Head of Legal 
 
The Head of Legal will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the legal department, provision of legal advisory services and effective management of the business’s legal and contractual risks.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Legal risk management: provide and interpret legal information. Identify and mitigate exposure and risk on new contracts
  • Regulatory compliance: continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
  • Contract negotiation: review all contracts and documentation where the company has committed itself and assets
  • Litigation management: review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers
  • People management: Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of development staff
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • LLB undergraduate degree
  • Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
  • At least five (5) years legal experience ideally in a leading organisation
  • Proven track record of providing accurate and effective legal counsel
Head of Finance 
 
The Head of Finance will be responsible for many finance-related tasks within the organization. 

The incumbent will use financial expertise to work with management across the company to determine long-range development and investment strategies in order to ensure the company is profitable and cash flow positive.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Providing and interpreting financial information, cash flows and predicting future trends
  • Analyzing change, competitors and market trends and advising accordingly
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
  • Managing budgets
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Fully qualified or passed finalist of one of the professional accountancy bodies CPA(K)
  • Over 6 years relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of management and finance-related tasks
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Systems 
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team orientation
Head of Human Resource
 
The Head of Human Resource establishes and coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff.

The incumbent assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Design and develop a functional human resource department
  • Develop systems and an atmosphere to ensure staff engagement, motivation, production and retention
  • Develop and implement HR policy
  • Design, implement and manage strategic HR policies, projects and initiatives
  • Develop and align the business and people strategies to drive business growth and performance
  • Liaison with Government Authorities
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
  • An MBA is an added advantage
  • At least five (5) years’ managerial experience
  • Work collaboratively and sensitively with people at all levels in a variety of contexts
  • Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
  • Knowledge of Employment and Labour Law
Account Managers (Several)
 
The Account Managers is responsible for revenue generation through the sale of the company’s products and services. 

The incumbent will be responsible for new business acquisition and cultivation of business relationships to identify and develop opportunities to acquire present and future business.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends
  • Representing your organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special bundles/packages
  • Liaising with internal departments to check on the progress of existing orders.
  • Building opportunity funnels, making accurate sales projections and forecast for the week, month, quarter and year
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • A Degree in Commerce (Marketing Option) or related field
  • Professional qualification e.g. MSK will be an added advantage
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly focused and driven
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
