Financial Controller
Job Description
- Streamline
the entire finance department
- Ensure
the full implementation of the accounting system and strengthen the
current accounting system by maintaining the integrity of the data.
- Prepare
and co-ordinate the budgets of the company.
- Ensure
company assets are efficiently managed.
- Ensure
all company financial statements are prepared on time.
- Ensure
all taxation and statutory requirements are complied with at all times.
- Advice
the directors on the financial and investment decisions of the company.
- Working
capital and cash flow management especially in the areas of debtors and
creditors.
- On
a monthly basis monitor and track debtors to ensure they are consistent
with contract conditions.
- Daily
system and bank reconciliations.
- Provide
guidance and mentor staffs under your supervision.
- On
a monthly basis ensure the general ledger is reconciled to the assets
register.
- Periodic
reports to the management i.e. daily, weekly and monthly.
Educational Qualifications.
- Bachelor
of Commerce / BBM / BBA
- CPA
orACCA qualified
- Competence
in spreadsheet analysis
Experience
- Five
years progressive experience in Finance & Accounting two of which
should be at managerial level
- Proven
experience in management of financial accounts.
