large manufacturing organization involved in manufacturer and marketing of fast
moving consumer goods ¡s seeking to recruit a result oriented individual to
fill the following key position in Kenya
Deputy Human Resources Manager
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following among other duties:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following among other duties:
- Assist in implementing all Human Resources programmes, activities
and plans for the company and the subsidiaries ¡n and outside the country.
- Developing and maintaining sound Human Resources policies, systems
and procedures.
- Facilitation and coordination of all staff recruitment and staff
induction in the company and our subsidiaries in and outside the country.
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the performance
management programmes.
- Supervising the establishment and maintenance of employee’s data
including personal files and other related records.
- Review and advise improvements to the staff performance assessment
procedures and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and provide requisite support for training and
development for all levels of staff.
- Ensure proper administration and compliance to statutory
requirements.
- Generate periodic Human Resources Management reports.
- Coordinate and implement company apprenticeship scheme in liaison
with departmental heads.
Qualifications.
- A bachelors Degree ¡n Social Sciences, Humanities from a recognized University plus
an MBA
- A postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from a
recognized institution.
- Must be computer literate.
Requirements
- Must have at least seven years experience ¡n Human Resources
management in a large organization with at least 3 years at a senior
management level.
- Must have adequate experience in Manpower planning and recruitment
in a rapidly expanding organization.
- Must have proven track record of people and office management
skills.
- Must be willing to undertake frequent assignments to our
subsidiaries outside the country.
- Excellent experience and knowledge of current labour laws,
procedures, policies and other relevant legislations in Kenya and
subsidiary host countries.
- Must have excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Must be honest, transparent and with high level of integrity.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and keep abreast with emerging
trends in human resource management.
- Must have initiative with strong organization skills with ability
to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
