The following vacancy has arisen at our facility in Karuri, Kenya.
Purchasing and Supplies Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a busy warehouse. Key aspects of the job involve management and reconciliation of stocks, demand forecasting and supply planning in line with company procedures, tracking of orders and enquiries on orders, ensuring timely despatch and delivery of goods to customers, handling
of all incoming and outgoing shipments and other logistical duties.
The ideal candidate should be a confident, highly motivated leader with the following qualifications and experience:-
·         A University Degree holder with a Diploma in Purchasing, Supplies & Warehousing
·         Minimum of 5 years working experience within a busy warehouse.
·         Good working knowledge of MS – Office application packages with proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of integrated computerised accounting systems.
·         Strong communication, problem solving, numerical, organisational and planning skills.
·         A member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies.
