Human Resource Manager Job in Kenya

Job Purpose
To manage the Human Resources function of the company in a manner that ensures there is a working environment and a skilled and motivated workforce that facilitates the achievement of business objectives and that the company is in compliance with employment legislature.
Responsibilities
·         Develop, implement and monitor human resource management policies and procedures including performance management system and process for the company.

·         Develop and implement appropriate human resource planning and recruitment activities that reflect best practice.
·         Undertake talent management activities that involve development of relevant policies and procedures, identifying and managing training and development needs of employees.
·         Plan and conduct new employee orientation and exit interviews.
·         Put in place compensation and benefits systems, processes and standards that are in line with the company’s policies, benchmark the company pay structures and continually review these by supporting the annual salary review.
·         Manage employee complaints, grievance and disputes and administer the employee disciplinary process.
·         Coordinate employee health and safety standards ensuring that the company is compliant with employment legislation.
·         Maintain the human resource information system and employee database.
Requirements
·         Degree in Business Studies, Administration or Social Sciences
·         Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management
·         4 years generalist experience in human resource management
·         Membership of a professional human resource institution
·         Sound knowledge of labour laws
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·         Staff management skills including training and staff development experience
·         Computer literate
