The County Government of Tana River pursuant to Section 59(1) (a), (b) and 66 of the County Government Act 2012 as read together with Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions
V/NO. 034/2023: INSTRUCTOR
III (MOTOR VEHICLE) J/G ‘H’ (1 POST)
Duties and
responsibilities: –
- Theoretical
and practical instruction in the area of specialization;
- Preparing
and maintaining scheme of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, trainee
records, teaching and learning materials;
- Carrying
out trainee assessment;
- Ensuring
proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Conducting
co-curricular activities;
- Maintaining
trainees’ discipline;
- Guiding
and counselling trainees; and
- Any
other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
For appointment to this
grade, candidates must have: –
- Diploma
in mechanical Engineering;
- Certificate
in computer applications from a recognized institution and
- Shown
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
