Stima DT Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (Stima Sacco) is a leading country-wide, fast growing, and licensed DTS (Deposit Taking Sacco). To achieve the planned growth, the Sacco is looking for qualified and competent persons to fill the following vacancy:


Job Summary

Responsible for developing new business prospects and interacting with existing Members to increase sales of the Society’s products and services.

Core duties and responsibilities

  • Identifies, monitors, and maintains customer base through efficient interactions and analyzing any changes in Members’ needs.
  • Coordinates with potential Members to understand individual Member requirement and recommends plans to ensure achievement of all objectives.
  • Develops financial strategies and plans and recommends specific products to Members.
  • Evaluates potential members’ requirements and determines qualified leads through efficient networking and cold calling.
  • Develops and maintains relationship with business owners, individuals, corporate executives, and influential personnel with Members.
  • Participates in various outreach events such as member education and product campaigns.
  • Conducts door-to-door direct selling to obtain new Members and retain the existing ones.

  • Seeks customer feedback on the Society’ products.
  • Manges all communication between Members in their portfolio, provides excellent customer service and resolves any Member issues.
  • Administers Member queries on the Society’s products, manages effective resolution of all customer complaints in their portfolio.
  • Establishes and maintains member relationships.
  • Creates and implements innovative acquisition campaigns to deliver the member growth strategy.
  • Create member accounts and ensure relationship management.
  • Ensures compliance with KYC and due diligence.
  • Achieves the set individual targets in terms of numbers and value.

Generic duties and responsibilities

Submits weekly & monthly sales report through the sales logs.

Academic Qualifications

Diploma/Higher Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field


A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in sales and marketing.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Report writing skills.
  • Numeric skills

  • Number of new Members recruited.
  • Number of existing members retained.
  • Improved customer satisfaction.
