Our
client one of the leading FMCG companies in Kenya seeks to hire a Quality
Control Technician who will be tasked with Quality and quantity analysis of raw
milk and milk products, facilitating dispatch and proper documentation of the
same.
Key
Responsibility
· Receive
and grade raw milk at the main reception and record the quantity and quality
parameters.
· Carry
out chemical and microbiological analysis of milk, milk products and washing
detergents.
· Preparation
and standardization of lab chemical reagents as per laid down procedure while
ensuring safety.
· Analyze
incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet the required
quality parameters.
· Maintain proper records of all received milk and ensure proper handover at the end of the shift.
· Ensure
procedural CIP process before and after receiving milk or after dispatch of
milk.
· Carry
out daily checks on factory and personal hygiene.
Qualifications
& Experience
· Degree/diploma
in Dairy Technology /Biochemistry /Lab Technology/Food Science or related
field.
· Minimum
two (2) years experience dairy Industry or Food industry.
· Knowledge
and experience in yoghurt production.
· Planning
and organizing abilities.
· Strong
analytical abilities.
· Integrity
and honesty.
· Good
written and verbal communication skills.
