Corporate Communications Officer – One (1) Post V/No. 8/2022
The National
Research Fund (NRF) is a State Corporation established under section 32 of the
Science, Technology and Innovation Act No. 28 of 2013 with the objective to
facilitate Research for the advancement of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The Agency seeks to
recruit qualified, competent, dynamic, proactive, innovative and highly
committed staff to fill the position of Corporate Communications Officer.
- Handling customer complaints;
- Updating and managing the website and social media;
- Keeping a data book of complaints and ensuring
prompt responses in line with the Communication policy;
- Maintaining of customer and stakeholders’ database;
- Monitoring responses expected from other departments.
- Maintaining of customer and stakeholders’ database;
- Preparing Press releases, media briefs and REA
features;
- Placing Fund articles, advertisement or announcement
in the electronic or print media;
- Gathering information for publication in the REA
Newsletter, brochures & fliers; and;
- Preparing media report and media stories.
- Bachelor’s
degree in Journalism or mass communication, public relations or its
equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency
in computer applications;
- Good
communication skills; and
- Meets
the provisions of the Chapter Six of the Constitution
