Clerical Officer (4 Posts)


Number of Posts: Four (4)
Terms of Service: Contract Three (3) Years
Remuneration: As provided for by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission
Qualifications
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C or its approved equivalent;
  • Proficiency in computer application skills.
OR
  • Has passed the Proficiency Examination for Clerical Officers administered by the Public Service Commission (Kenya)
Responsibilities
  • Processing appointments, promotions, discipline, transfers and other related duties in human resource management;
  • Processing of pension documents;
  • Safe custody of the invoices, receipts and other records;
  • Preparation of estimates of expenditure for general office services;
  • Preparation and maintenance of records and ensuring proper maintenance of filing system;
  • Processing of human resource statistics;
  • Assisting in planning office accommodation and layout;
  • Assisting in the management of the offices operations and their personnel;
  • Sorting, filing and dispatching letters.

Secretarial Assistant

Number of Posts: One (1)
Terms of Service: Contract Three (3) Years
Remuneration: As provided for by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission
Qualifications
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education minimum grade of C- (minus) with at least C (plain) in English language, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • The following qualifications from the Kenya National Examinations Council:-
  1. Typewriting I (minimum 30 w.p.m.)/computerized document processing
  2. Business English I/Communications
  3. Office Practice I
  4. Commerce I
  • A Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution;
  • An experience of 1-2 years in a similar position will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Typing from manuscripts;
  • Processing data;
  • Attending to visitors/clients;
  • Handling telephone calls and appointments;
  • Operating office equipment;
  • Ensuring security of office equipment, documents and records;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Receptionist Assistant III

Number of Posts: One (1)
Terms of Service: Contract Three (3) Years
Remuneration: As provided for by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission
Qualifications
  • Must have KCSE Certificate (Mean Grade D+) or its equivalent with at least a C- in English;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills;
  • A certificate in in front office management or its equivalent will be an added advantage;
  • A 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Receiving, directing and guiding visitors;
  • Issuance of visitors’ passes;
  • Maintaining good public relations;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned

Assistant Program Officer

Number of Posts: Five (5)
Terms of Service: Contract Five (5) Years
Remuneration: As provided for by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in possession of:
  • Diploma in Community Development; Project Management or its approved equivalent;
  • A good understanding of managing programs in a changing business environment;
  • Skilled in time management and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the Project Implementation Committee, Service Delivery Unit and Special Programmes Unit in monitoring and evaluation activities;
  • Preparing relevant documents and reports for the county programs and projects.
  • Performing research, communicating programs objectives and evaluating program’s effectiveness;
  • Guiding on future programs intervention activities.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned
