Basic Salary Scale:  Ksh. 30,170 
– Ksh. 40,060 P.M. (Grade CSG 11)
Terms of Service: Three (3) years contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics, Commerce, Accounts, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Development, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Education, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Resource Management, Agriculture and Extension, Agriculture and
Home Economics, Agriculture and Human Ecology, Crop Protection, Dry-land Resource Management, Dry-land Agriculture and Enterprise Development, Farm Management, Home Economics, Horticulture, Agribusiness Management and Enterprise Development, Agribusiness Management, Agribusiness, Food Science and Technology, Mathematics, Biological/Physical Sciences, Statistics or Project Planning and Management from a university recognized in Kenya.
 Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • participation in preparation of promotional, research and training materials; and
  • facilitating the assessment of Productivity Development services and support services to the public and private

AUDIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST III – SIX (6) POSTS – V/NO. 182/2019
Basic Salary Scale:  Ksh. 24,580 
– Ksh. 32,760 P.M.  (Grade CSG 12)
Terms of Service: Three (3) years contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance
Qualifications
  • a Diploma in Audiology, Clinical Audiology, Public Health Otology or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
  • a membership to the Kenya Society of Audiologists
Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer.
Duties and responsibilities will include:-
  • conducting behavioral, electroacoustic and electrophysiological measures on hearing and balance;
  • undertaking hearing aid selection, fitting and evaluation;
  • taking ear impressions;
  • conducting clinical vestibular assessment and interpreting results;
  • educating clients on the use, care and maintenance of hearing aids and accessories;
  • carrying out vestibular rehabilitation for patients with hearing and imbalance disorders; and
  • collecting and compiling audio logical data


DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SOCIAL REHABILITATION -TWO (2) POSTS – V/NO.193 /2019
Basic Salary Scale:  KShs.98, 500 – KShs.166, 780pm(Grade CSG 6)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
 Qualifications
  • served for a minimum period of fifteen (15) years, three (3) of which must have been in the grade of Assistant Director, Social Rehabilitation, CSG 7 or in a comparable and relevant position in the wider public service;
  • a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Sociology, Social Work, Social Psychology, Gerontology, Education, Anthropology, Community Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Rehabilitation Studies, Counseling, Economics, Gender Studies or equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • a Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Education, Anthropology, Counseling, Demography/Population Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Community Development, Project Planning, Policy Studies or equivalent qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution; and
  • demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-
  • developing, disseminating and reviewing street families rehabilitation policies, strategies, guidelines, procedures and programmes;
  • developing capacity building programmes for care givers in partner institutions;
  • interpreting data for policy development and developing framework for quality assurance;
  • promoting collaboration    and    cooperation    with    communities    nationally, regionally and internationally on street families rehabilitation;
  • advocating and lobbying street family rehabilitation matters at national, regional and international fora;
  • ensuring maintenance of data on street families;
  • conducting public awareness on the plight of street families; and promoting research on street families rehabilitation
