currently hiring for the position of Monitoring
and Verification (M&V) Manager.
Primary Functions of the
Position: Reporting directly to the Program
Quality Improvement Advisor regarding M&V field work and reporting, the
M&V Manager is responsible for overseeing the design and execution of
multiple, concurrent M&V teams throughout Kenya.
Main Duties of the Position will be;
·
Manage M&V portfolio, M&V
Specialists, M&V Officers and STTA consultants.
·
Oversee multiple, concurrent M&V
field teams.
·
Work with Mission staff and MSP team
to identify, design and scope M&V visits to support a target of 20 visits
per quarter. Create and execute quarterly M&V plan.
·
Establish and train teams on M&V
protocols.
·
Work with MSP logistics team to
ensure travel arrangements for M&V field visits.
·
Responsible for M&V data quality,
analysis and reporting.
Skills, Knowledge, Education and
Experience
·
English language proficiency. Must be
able to write clearly in English.
·
Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively. in a team
environment.
·
5+ years experience managing teams.
·
6+ years experience with MEL,
including data collection, M&V, DQAs, etc.
·
Experience in survey enumeration,
data collection, and/or face to face interview/FGD experience.
·
Experience with data management and
reporting.
·
Bachelor’s degree.
·
Ability to travel throughout Kenya.
·
Experience working on USAID projects,
a plus
·
Kenyan Nationals preferred.

Manager.
Primary Functions of the Position: Reporting directly to the Program Quality Improvement
Advisor regarding MEL support for the MSP activity, the Mission and other
implementing partners. The MEL Manager is responsible for overseeing high
quality response to MEL related work orders as well as activity level MEL
requirements.
Main Duties of the Position will be;
·
Interface with Mission stakeholders
to write, respond to and successfully execute work orders.
·
Develop project MEL plan and oversee
all activity level monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
·
Ensure the linkage between monitoring
partner and project performance, learning, and adaptive management.
·
Create and disseminate evidence-based
learning products.
·
Support IPs in review, design and
implementation of MEL plans.
·
Support creation and annual review of
(R)CDCS performance management plan.
·
Produce required activity level MEL
reports to COP and client.
·
Participate in MEL field data
collection and oversee MEL field teams.
·
Design and lead quarterly MEL related
trainings for Mission and IPs.
Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience
·
English language proficiency. Must be
able to write clearly in English.
·
Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
environment.
·

7+ years experience with MEL,
including performance management plan design and execution, creating and
executing MEL trainings, creating and implementing data collection tools, etc.

platforms.
