Sacco Manager
Responsibilities
·
Administration of the Local Area
Network and Wide Area Network.
·
Administration of the ICT Systems.
·
Perform on time daily and weekly
backups and ensure backing up of data in the Disaster Recovery Site.
·
Perform maintenance and repairs of
the Sacco’s hardware.
·
Upgrade of systems – performing
software installations on servers and client machines.
·
Maintain organization ICT inventory.
·
Provide relevant training to the
staff to upgrade their ICT skills.
·
Manage software licenses and ensure
use of genuine licenses.
·
Perform periodic update of the
Sacco’s website.
·
Support the Sacco in the
implementation of ICT strategies.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
or any other related ICT field.
·
Microsoft Certified Systems
Administrator (MCSA) qualification.
·
Working knowledge of relational
database management system specifically Oracle.
·
Working knowledge of software.
·
At least three (3) years relevant
work experience in a similar position in a busy ICT environment.
·
Very good understanding of Sacco Core
Banking Systems.
·
Demonstrate ability to manage and
ensure timely delivery of ICT projects.
·
Age – 28-35 years.

Credit Manager
Job Purpose
The
credit manager is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including
the consistent application of the credit policy, periodic credit reviews of
existing customers, and the assessment of the credit worthiness of potential
customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of growth of the portfolio and
the reduction of bad debt losses.
Responsibilities
·
Offer an oversight role in managing
society loans.
·
Ensure all loans are insured.
·
In liaison with marketing department,
grow a healthy loan book.
·
Ensure the portfolio at risk( par) is
maintained at ≤ 5%
·
Verify proper collateral
documentation before loan disbursement.
·
Ensure security perfection before the
loans are disbursed.
·
Generate loan reports to the Sacco
Manager for presentation to the board.
·
Approve loans within the limit and
facilitate further approval by the Sacco Manager for loans above the limit.
·
In liaison with the marketing
department, develop and review the loan products periodically.
·
Handle customers with difficult loan
cases.
·
Improve and implement laid down
operational procedures.
·
Supervise and appraise his/her
officers.
·
Market and cross-sell the Sacco
products and services.
Qualifications
·
Degree in a business related field
·
CPA part2
·
Diploma in co-operative management or
credit management added advantage
·
Computer proficiency especially in
accounting packages and systems
·
Knowledge of society’s loans products
·
Knowledge of operation of various
Sacco software systems an added advantage
·
At least three years’ experience in a
related field
Sacco Manager
Job Purpose
The position will be responsible for
the day to day coordination of the Society’s Operations to ensure business
growth as well as overall staff management. The position will also
examine and prepare financial information, records and reports to enable the
Sacco run in the most efficient and profitable manner, as well as undertake
financial reporting to all stakeholders as required. The position will
also manage Administration and HR related aspects for the Organization.
Responsibilities
·
Reviewing and formulating policies,
procedures and practices for SACCO operations.
·
Directing and supervising the
administration and processing of loans.
·
Ensuring effective management and use
of Sacco financial resources and assets.
·
Preparation and reporting of timely
and accurate financial reports.
·
The Manager will ensure that all
statutory deductions are made correctly and that all amounts due and the
necessary returns are submitted by the due dates.
·
Giving prudent advice to the Sacco.
·
Preparing and analyzing on a
quarterly basis the society’s business plans and budgets.
·
Coordinating external audit exercises
and implementing recommendations set forth.
·
Representing the Society in business
transactions and any other transactions authorized by the Board chairman
·
Attending board meetings and AGM in
an advisory capacity and implementing the resolutions made.
·
Carry out such other duties as
prescribed in the By-Laws or directed by the Board.
Qualifications
·
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Finance or equivalent
·
CPA (K).
·
Member in good standing of relevant
professional body – ICPAK.
·
Minimum of C+ in KCSE or its
equivalent
·
5 years relevant experience of which
at least 2 years must have been in a supervisory capacity
·
Prior experience and exposure in the
Sacco industry.
·
A diploma in Co-operative Management
will be an added advantage.
·
Combined knowledge in general
management/administration as well as accounting.
·
Knowledge of national and industry
related financial principles.
·
Age 35 years and above.
